Each year, a new and varied repertoire is presented with a lot of dedication at various concerts. However, besides public concerts and the yearly ‘concert of gratitude’, Dekoor is also able to provide privately tailored shows. In the past, Dekoor has performed at weddings, corporate events, and many other occasions. One can choose to book an a capella performance, or a show led by our musical combo (piano, bass and drums).

Are you curious to know how Dekoor works? Simply fancy knowing what it is like to sing in a choir? Or have you always wanted to be a member of Dekoor? Book the choir for a workshop! In the past, Dekoor has given masterclasses at birthday parties, as well as workshops at the secondary school Reggesteyn. For an impression of our workshop, watch the video below.
Each Dekoor Workshop is provided by the choir members themselves: young, talented and enthusiastic singers. The workshops include a short demonstration by the singers of Dekoor, basic singing exercises with a focus on singing technique, singing a song in unison, teaching a musical round and -depending on the levels and ages of the participants- singing a song in close harmony.

A Dekoor Masterclass is provided by the professional conductor Christoph Mac-Carty and supported by members of the choir. A masterclass is perfect for those with a little more singing experience! Christoph has been awarded as best director of the Netherlands and is furthermore a jazz pianist virtuoso. He lifts a workshop to a higher level to a real ‘master’class. Want to know more about Christoph? Have a look at his profile. Content-wise, a masterclass is similar to a workshop but also includes timing and rhythm exercises, as well as the option to learn a specially requested song.
