Dekoor is celebrating an important milestone this year: we are turning 40! We want to celebrate this jubilee with as many singers from Utrecht as possible, and that includes you! That is why we are setting up a mass choir of 200 singers – to perform two songs together during our jubilee show in TivoliVredenburg on July 8th, 2025. We will prepare these songs in two mass choir rehearsals on June 21st and June 30th in the Stadsklooster in Utrecht (address: Kanaalstraat 198).
As a participating singer you will receive a two free tickets for our jubilee show – one for ticket yourself and one an extra ticket for someone who you would like to take with you.
Planning:
• June 21st (Stadsklooster): walk-in 12:30, beginning 13:00, end 16:00
• June 30th (Stadsklooster): walk-in 18:30, beginning 19:00, end 22:00.
• July 8th (TivoliVredenburg): a full plan is coming soon. Keep your afternoon from 15:00 free for a soundcheck and runthrough, and the entire evening for the performance. Catering will be provided.
Attendance on both rehearsal days is necessary to participate in the perfomance on July 8th. Registration does not guarantee participation. After the registration period, a selection will be made based on the distribution of voice types and possibly town of residence.
